Will Jones & The Western CD music
$6.95 New Mexico alt-country singer/songwriter Ryan Bingham's third album, ROADHOUSE SUN is an organic-sounding, rough-hewn affair that spotlights Bingham's whiskey-and-cigarettes voice, the steady and soulful accompaniment of his band, the Dead Horses, and tunes that tell of living life the hard way. Like its predecessor, ROADHOUSE SUN is produced by former Black Crowes guitarist Marc Ford. Touches of bluegrass and country mingle freely with jangly folk and roadhouse rock & roll for a sound considerably more distinctive than many ...

Will Jones & The Western CD music
$16.39 It's funny how these sort of things come together. Initially there was nothing, but then that nothing eventually flourished into some sort of foundation. For any artist out there that has ever created a piece of work, to create something out of nothing is a very interesting concept. They attest to the fact that at the beginning of things there is usually just an inspirational moment with no real outcome of any sort. But when the final stages are completed and the entire picture is put together, it's almost as if it immediately has its own identity and you don't really realize how it all came about. Not only that but you also realize that the final outcome may have been there all the time, but you were simply used as an instrument for the task. Some greater power or force was at play. This may be the mark of a true artist. In any case we think this is what came about with a group of diverse musicians from around the world called "Insight" (Or that is at least what we strive for). We started off as a group of musically inspired Bahá'Ăs looking for a jam session. What we didn't realize was that this jam session would turn into a two-year project! It included a teaching trip around Spain, and the recording of an audio CD entitled "From the Inside Out". David Gappy (Seychelles Islands), Krisia Haynes (Bermuda), John Hicks (USA), David McKinney (Costa Rica), Andre Ross (South Africa) and Saman Sliney (Kenya) form Insight. We play music inspired by the teachings of Bahá'u'lláh, the prophet founder of the Bahá'Ă Faith. Our music includes a variety of modern folk, rock, pop, and even some hip hop and reggae. Other than the music we perform, what most captivates our audience's attention is that in spite of (or more likely because of) representing so many diverse cultures we are able to transmit such an amazing spirit together. We think it proves to the world that we can come together, and shows the beauty and richness of unity in diversity. The fundamental purposes of our cd and project are three: First is to share the joys we've had in playing music together, these past couple of years, to all our friends, families and Bahá'Ăs all around. Second, we hope that ...
