We rock!!!
Dio´s Last in line is definiteley his best solo effort, not a single weak track on the album. I even like it better than "Holy diver". This remastered edition has an astonishing reworked sound, much better than the normal edition. Though, the art has not been changed so it´s the same as it was on the original edition.
After almost 20 years from it´s release, still holds up for one of the best rock albums of all time.

The ELF stands tall.
With this solid lineup how could you go wrong? The song LAST IN LINE is a DIO staple and a metal staple as well. 2010 and you still get chills when he belts out that first part. If you ever caught DIO live than you must know that WE ROCK was always a concert favorite. Comparing releases is common with diehard fans but when it comes right down to it how can you call yourself a DIO fan without Last In Line in your collection?

Better effort than Holy Diver
This is one of the most killer metal albums of all time. Everybody always says that HOLY DIVER was the better album, but I very much disagree. "We Rock" is a great opening to this superb album. "I speed at night", is another one of my favorites. "Egypt (The chains are on)", is one of my all-time favorites, and a great close to this superb metal album. HOLY DIVER better than this? I think not!!! Dio rules!!!

Nothing great, just OK
I find this album a bit boring to be honest. Every song ends the same, they all fade away. And the songs are all very standard, there's nothing unexpecting here. As if they didn't had any time to bring the songs to life, it sounds so rushed and unfinished. Some songs could have been so much better. Holy Diver is way better!
