GRANDES EXITOS is a hits collection from Latin pop vocalist Daniela Romo. The set features work from throughout the career of the Argentinian singer, including her work in the tejano vein. "Amada Mas Que Nunca," "Una Vez Mas," and "Dimelo" are here, among others.
Despite a brief running time, Serie de Oro: Grandes Exitos is one of the best collections of Daniela Romo hits released. With one exception ("Todo, Todo, Todo"), none of her best-known performances are missing, and the big three -- "De Mi Enamorate," "Quiero Amanecer con Alguien," "Yo No Te Pido la Luna" -- are present. ~ John Bush
EMI gold series greatest hits collection from the Mexican singer's solo career that started in 1983. Daniela Romo started singing in a vocal group called Los Hermanos Zavala and participated in Eduardo Gorostiza's musical "Contigo Pan y Cebolla". Romo studied acting at Andres Solar's Academy, becoming a model in 1973 and getting roles in TV commercials soon after. In 1992, New York's ACE awarded her for Best Album of the Year, Best Female Performer and Best Video Clip. In January of 1993, Romo was named Ms. Amigo by the community in Brownsville, Texas. That same year the artist was voted Best Female Singer in Argentina. By the end of 2000, Univision signed her up to host the Spanish version of "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire".
