The sound is muffled, not good.
I have all 7 SACD albums installment on this APO label. Mostly great albums and great sounds too.
Buy "Cosmo's Factory", "Willy & the Poor Boys", "CCR 1st LP", "Pendulum" SACDs. They're great.
Avoid "Green River" and "Bayou Country" on this APO label new SACD series, which I think sounded not as great (muffled). "Mardi Gras" is 50/50, a good recording quality but not a great songs material.
See my other review on "Green River", "Bayou Country", "Cosmo's Factory", "Willy & the Poor Boys" SACDs.

The Sound not as great as "Cosmo's" and "Willy"
Steve Hoffman and Kevin Gray (of DCC fame, now history) have done it again. Very Good remastering job.
But, I don't think S.Hoffman and K.Gray ever remastered "Creedence 1st LP", either for CD (during DCC era or any other labels) before.
My favorable vote goes to other Creedence SACD albums: "CCR/1st LP", "Willy & The Poor Boys", "Cosmo's Factory". These three SACDs are great, soundwise. Five stars.
However, Creedence SACDs "Green River" and "Bayou Country" sound muffled and liveless. Not as good as those of remastered CDs using JVC 20-bit K2 Super Coding on Fantasy label, remastered by Shigeo Miyamoto and Tamaki Beck, released in 2000.
My recommendation for these two albums (Green River and Bayou Country) is go buy the JVC K2 super coding remastered CDs on Fantasy label which sound great and priced a lot cheaper too.
$25.00 a piece for oldies SACDs of CCR and it's only around 30 minutes of music?????? Well, Cosmo's Factory has almost 43 minutes of music on it.
A "TwoFer" deal OR "2 albums on 1 sacd" for $25.00 is more reasonable.
Thank you for reading my review. I hope this will help you decide whether to buy it or not.

Creedence at their best !
I have bought the first (5) CCR's in SACD and they are all excellent. The remastered sound is all one could ask for. If you have an SACD player I recommend investing in the SACD versions. You will not be disappointed.
