This is a Limited Editon 2 CD set with exclusive bonus 4 track CD. Although SAY YOU WILL is Fleetwood Mac's first album without longtime singer/songwriter/keyboardist Christine McVie as a full participant (she appears only as a guest ... Full Descriptionmusician), the album nevertheless harks back to the frothy sound of 1982's MIRAGE, if not the '70s L.A. studio-pop glory of RUMOURS. Singer/guitarist Lindsay Buckingham's production still boasts pleasing quirks aplenty ("Red Rover," "Murrow Turning Over in His Grave"), and his trademark acoustic fingerpicking licks underpin many of the tunes in a winning way. Buckingham and Stevie Nicks share the songwriting duties, and their writing and singing styles still mesh as well as they did in their pre-Mac days as Buckingham /Nicks. SAY YOU WILL manages to sound fresh without resorting to anything as embarrassing as grafting hip-hop rhythms or electronica effects onto the group's classic pop tunes, and though it all sounds far from dated, you probably wouldn't blink twice if told this was the lost, unreleased follow-up to MIRAGE.

Say You Will (2003) 6/8/06 For all the people criticizing this album I have something to say to you. What do you expect? Havent Fleetwood Mac made enough legendary music for one lifetime? They cant keep coming out with the stuff of the late 70's. That was then, this is now. And besides, do you hear newer artists coming out with music that sounds this good? Goodbye Baby is absoultely beautiful and the title track is very proressive sounding. Say Goodbye is absoulte crap however. This album could be better if there werent 18 songs with most of them being filler. Submitted by keithsilvers (Wausau, WI., USA) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
Absolutely Terrible!!! This is the worst album Fleetwood Mac has done - the songs are jibberish, and the sound engineer should be fired. I purchased this cd in high anticipationj and the result is a waste of money. Submitted by Jack (Salem, Or, USA) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
Fleetwood Mac's Best Album I think this is Fleetwood Mac's best album....Stevie Nicks shines throughout with songs like "Thrown Down", "Silver Girl" and the rocking "Destiny Rules"....Lindsey Buckingham's guitar work is superb, "Bleed to Love Her" is one of his best songs....I do miss Christine McVie's great songs and vocals, maybe she'll rejoin the group someday.....Even without her, this is an excellent album. Say You Will album
$10.15 After the 1979 release of the precocious but misunderstood double album TUSK, which fell disappointingly below the mind-blowing sales of 1977's multi-platinum RUMOURS, the band decided to take a safer route for their next release. In sunny contrast to the melancholy introspection of TUSK, 1982's MIRAGE returned the band to bright melodies and hit single material. The advent of MTV led the band to release two artistic videos in conjunction with the record, the Magritte-inspired desert fantasy of "Hold Me," Christine McVie's lush, pleading love song, and the handsome, Depression-era daydream of "Gypsy," one of Nicks' prettiest signature tunes.
The jangling bonhomie of MIRAGE even affects Buckingham's darker songs; though lyrically heartbroken, on "Book of Love" Buckingham sounds almost cheerful. ...

$20.49 Disc 1 is an Enhanced CD, which contains both regular audio tracks and multimedia computer files.
Although the title is a misnomer, considering that material from Fleetwood Mac line-ups featuring earlier members including founder Peter Green, Jeremy Spencer, Bob Welch, and Danny Kirwan is noticeably absent, THE VERY BEST OF serves up the cream of the Buckingham/Nicks years. Rounded out by Mick Fleetwood and former paramours John and Christine McVie, this "classic" Mac line-up lasted for seven albums and created timeless material often fueled by romantic turmoil within its ranks. With Lindsey Buckingham, Stevie Nicks, and Christine McVie all serving as singer-songwriters, there were plenty of hits to go around.
Ably displacing 1998's GREATEST HITS package, this two-CD set features plenty of well-known radio hits starting with cuts from the Mac's 1975 self-titled smash ("Monday Morning," "Rhiannon," and "Say You Love Me") on through the live 1997 reunion album THE DANCE ("I'm So Afraid," "Big Love"). In between, the wealth of solid material boggles the mind and includes classics found on 1977's classic RUMOURS ("Go Your Own Way," "Don't Stop"), 1979's TUSK (title track, "Sara"), ...

$9.29 This is a Hyper CD, which contains regular audio tracks and also provides a link to the artist's website with the help of a web browser.
"Fallen" was nominated for the 2004 Grammy Award for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance.
In the six years between Sarah McLachlan's 1997 outing, SURFACING, and 2003's AFTERGLOW, much happened to the Lilith Fair founder on both personal and global levels. McLachlan's daughter India was born months after the death of her mother, and, of course, there were the ripple effects of the 2001 terrorist attacks. All are addressed throughout these 10 songs, which are ensconced in the ethereal swaddling of subtle piano, acoustic guitars, and light strings.
At the heart of this Canadian chanteuse's often melancholy observations is a unwavering resiliency, whether she's finding her way through 9/11's aftereffects in "World on Fire" or seeking solace in the embrace of drummer and significant other Ashwin Sood on "Push." McLachlan also sings of unhealthy relationships, where she finds fault in both herself ("Stupid") and a fictional lover ("Perfect Girl"). Gently rendered, introspective, and heartfelt, AFTERGLOW reaffirms that Sarah McLachlan's mastery of both word and song didn't miss a step, despite a hiatus that equals a lifetime in the world of pop.

No home should be without at least one copy of TUSK. Fleetwood Mac's magnum opus of 1979 is considered by some to be their greatest work. And while you are probably familiar with the hits, you may not realize that this recording is full of gems like Christine McVie's gorgeous "Brown Eyes" and Lindsey Buckingham's rousing and infectious "I Know I'm Not Wrong." Of course, even the Nikei industrial average would sound beautiful if it were sung with Christine's wonderful voice. And Lindsey Buckingham's home recordings that show ...
