GZA/Genius & Masta Killa - Duet Classic Coming Soon
Previous to the past RZA production, word is that GZA and Masta Killa had some songs they did together to put an album out on wax. In a recent discussion, the fans consider them the Clan members that have the sharpest lyrics and have never wrote a mediocre verse. I hope this is true because No Said Date and Liquid Swords are classic albums, so I cant imagine what this $hit will be like. Its also word that RZA gave them new 2005 RZA beats that sound like 1993 Wu bangaz and they're tha hardest he's ever created. I hope this happens, seriously.... ...what do ya'll expect

IT'S LIKE THAT!!
Yo, Deck sets it straight with his second album. Im feelin' it from the first track to the last. Deck also shows some emotion on the album too. Like on, Cradle to the Grave, and on The Movement. On that track,(The Movement) he said, "Pop one for Aaliyah, Left Eye, Big, Pac, and Pun." He was showin' respect right there, and I was feelin' that as well as the lyrics.

The Movement is an improvement....
Deck is definitely a gifted lyricist, no question. He's shined on many collaborations in the past on tracks like "Cream", "Cold World", and "True Master" to name a few. Tracks like these have had me rate him as one of Wu's best kept secrets and one of the most slept on emcees. As time goes on though, I'm reminded that he can't hold it on his own. Don't get me wrong, this effort is an improvement from his first release, however, that's not saying much. The problem Deck runs into on this album is MONOTONY!!! Most of the beats are the same speed and tempo, similar in sound, and lack any real musical presence; much like most production these days. His vocals consist of the same material from track to track leaving the listener to walk away empty handed, uninspired, and with little to think about. Where are the jewels the Wu have been known to spit from time to time? Where are the concepts? The industry has a lot of cats confused these days more than ever. Deck shows very little direction here as he talks about the typical. It's a shame because his intellect exceeds this material. How many times are we going to chronicle the hood in the same way with the same sound? I'll be a Wu fan to the grave, but in this new era of garbage, I expect the Decks of the world to educate the industry and fans at a time where direction is needed. Make us hit rewind on our "decks"....don't talk, teach.

Falls Short
Ins. Deck didn't really come with the wu tang sound on this album, he should hav used more rza because beat wise this cd falls short of my expectation. But other than INS gets real creative with hes a rebel & movement.
