When I fist saw Harvey Watkins and the
Caonton Spirituals it was in Albany Georgia .They put on a good show they put on a good show I like the cd it's in my heart and the cd live im memphis
tennessee On my way home.If you never seen the Canton Spirituals you are missing something good.

 the anointing
harvey and the cantons are a very blessed anoited gospel group. they sing the praies up and the blessing surely do come down.keep up lifting the name of jesus through song.

The Blessings Keep Coming!
As my little cousin would say “this CD is fresh”! Talk about nourishment – the smooth start of this project gives us a brief history of how God has brought us from a mighty long way. In between, you will find encouragement and strength in each track. Its theme is reflected throughout. You know that all of your help comes from God so you better be careful of the things you say and do and the places you go. And if you really want to be what he wants you to be, you will start to walk and talk like him, and you are sure to strive to be more like Jesus. When it’s in your heart to serve him, you find that the blessings keep coming and you are truly grateful for the things God does for us, and we do need his help. Although we face trials in life, we must go through because he loves us. Still, he keeps us and we find in the morning that it’s gonna be alright. When you buy this CD and start getting your praise on, be careful, you might find out that in spite of what you’re going through, you are blessed and God truly is everything you need!

I got his love in my heart
This is one of the best records that Harvey has recorded because it deals with real life and how we must do what ever that God has called us to do even it cost us our life. Harvey was truly under the annointing as he sings and may God forever bless, keep him and show him his devine directions as his steps is ordered by him. prayerful submitted Pastor G.

A tribute to pioneering folk-gospel singer and guitarist Sister Rosetta Tharpe, this collection packs a lot of wallop and joy into its 17 tracks, including fine versions of "Nobody's Fault But Mine" by Joan Osborne and the Holmes Brothers, "This Train" by Janis Ian, and "Didn't It Rain" by Marie Knight, all of which were standard pieces in Tharpe's repertoire. This tribute to the underrated gospel/soul/blues guitar-playing star of the '40s (and later, when she was rediscovered in the '60s) is a labor of love from MC Records label owner Mark Carpentieri and singer Maria Muldaur. It was Carpentieri's concept, but Muldaur -- a huge Tharpe fan -- had the industry connections and clout to recruit some of the marquee names. The disc's title refers not only to Tharpe's song, but to the predominantly all-female cast who cover 17 tracks associated -- but not necessarily written by -- the gospel/soul singer. Production is shared by Muldaur along with Carpentieri, and the classy cast, which includes Rory Block, Tracy Nelson, Odetta, Joan Osborne, ...
