Interesting percussionmusic by young greek composer A very interesting recording of percussionpieces by the fairly unknown greek composer Minas Borboudakis. His music stands in the tradition of Iannis Xenakis, finding inspiration in modern physics and greek mythology. Even though the two composers has some of the same inspirations, their music sounds different. Borboudakis music speaks with a distinct personality and orginality that one doesn`t expect from a composer that young. It`s good to see that there`s a young greek composer that`s able to follow the giant footsteps of the great genies Iannis Xenakis. I`m looking forward to see what`s coming from this composer in the future and happy to recommend this recording. Peter Sadlos performance is very good, and really gives the music expression and groove. Submitted by thomasmoshaug (Copenhagen, Denmark) Was This Review Helpful? YesNo
