Biography of Only 1-WAYOnly 1-WAY Originated in Detroit, Michigan at Hope Evangelical Ministries. The Pastor of the Group's church, Kevin L. Young, approached the members of Only 1-WAY with a vision of them becoming an Urban Gospel rap/singing group known today as Only 1-WAY. The group name comes from Acts 4:12 "Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved". The bible verse inspired the name of the group because the members knew that there was only one way to get to heaven and through only on man, Jesus Christ.
