Accomplished Armenian-Canadian soprano Isabel Bayrakdarian pays homage to her Armenian heritage with GOMIDAS SONGS. Interpreting the works of the 19th-century composer Gomidas Vardabet, Bayrakdarian wields her voice like a painter's brush: utilizing tonal color, intensity, and deep emotion, she revitalizes Vardabet's collection of Armenian hymns, lullabies, and folk songs.
