5 stars BEST!!!!
Beautiful stuff! I have one superb record of Paul Motian in my mind,it's 1977 ECM "DANCE" trio with David Izenson & Charles Brackeen....OUTSTANDING RECORD!!!!

5 stars Beautiful new take on standards
Paul Motian got more out of Joe Lovano and Bill Frisell than they get out of themselves on their own recordings. Maybe because they were not yet big stars, they did not have to worry so much and could play freely and without leader's pressures. This is another winner from this great quartet. I missed it when it first came out and was very happy to get this as part of the ongoing reissue series. This and vol 1 contain standards, beautifully played and recorded. Perfect.
