i have lways loved latocha anything she sings on i will by big momma sdtrk i even bought j-shin but this cd was a mix of great hip hop joints but a diapointment with ballads her voice is 2 beautiful do not sing realy sing most people who do a lot of hip hop songs cant sing and she is the greatest so i will be looking for more ballads from her over time

 smooth sailing
I'M A HUGE FAN OF LATOCHA'S & I COMMEND HER FOR TAKING THE TIME TO EXPRESS HERSELF & NOT FORGET WHERE SHE CAME FROM.THE ALBUM WAS A GREAT TITLE 'CUZ SHE REALLY TOOK ME ON A RIDE FROM THE GHETTO TO THE CLUB & THEN SHE HAD THE HEARTFELT SONG "THANK YOU".IT MAKES ME APPRECIATE THE LITTLE THINGS & NOT TAKE LIFE FOR GRANTED. U GAVE US A LITTLE TASTE BUT I WANT TO HEAR MORE FROM U. WHAT A BEAUTIFUL VOICE !!

 voice of an angel
personally, i think the cd is wonderful she sings about family life, love, on down to kickin it in the hood and it all sounds good cuz it's latocha scott,i mean, there is no reason why this girl should not be signed to one of the big recording lables out there cuz the world and the music industry has full knowledge of who she is from her excellent vocal skills with the platinum group xscape, this girl doesn't just sing, she sangs and that's what she gave to us on solo flight 404, i have this cd and live in illinois but mostly atlantans know about this cd because her hometown people are big supporters of her as well as those around the world who have heard her songs, but i think if this girl worked on her next solo album with some of the big time record lables, if she hasn't already,then everybody and their mama would be buying this girls records and i am probly one of the biggest fans of both latocha scott and the former group known as xscape, but not just for these reasons do i feel she did a hell of a job on solo 404, but because she has a hell of a voice! no matter what she sings.

 Don't Waste your Time
I felt like I was slapped really hard in the face. Latocha Scott is one hell of a singer but on this disc, you can't tell. She was not focused and you can tell that after she recorded these songs in her own studio, she didn't play them back to review in a set of headphones. The cd had no direction. Solo flight, hell the damn plane crashed. I'm a real fan and I'm keeping it real. All that passion I hear in her voice, the dripping vocals, it was not here. I agree with the other reviewer, stick to ballards. Find some lyrics that make since. I really listened to that cd for weeks in my car and I wanted to toss it out the window. If I could give that disc a zero I would. LATOCHA come to me if you want some lyrics and some melody. I won't lie to you I will tell if it sounds like some sh.. Love you baby D.
