Au Carnegie Hall 1956-1957 CD

17 years ago, I was stationed at Fort Campbell, KY, when an Army buddy gave me a casette with the 1957 Piaf concert, it was the first time I listened to Piaf, instantly I felt in love with the sparrow, the whole concert with that enigmatic, incredible voice for me was like a religious experience. All these years I have searched everywhere for the CD but it was not available, finally a few weeks ago I found it here, to my surprise it also includes another concert from 1956, just as powerful and mesmerizing as the one in 1957, I feel like I won the lotto, can't get enough of Piaf, and her unique, incredible art, que viva the Sparrow at the Carnegie Hall, Elkin

 Definative Performances
These two performances show the range of Edith Piaf. If you only have one cd, this should be it.
