5 stars A Treasure-Trove of Pre-Beatles Rock & Pop
Like his "Hard to Find 45s on CD" series, Bill Buster's three-volume "Teen Time" series makes available some pretty scarce songs from the '50s and '60s. You just don't find songs like "You Don't Know What You've Got" by Ral Donner or "What is Love" by the Playmates on your average oldies anthology. 13 of the 20 songs on this disc are in stereo, and the sound quality is very good. With one exception all the songs here are from the pre-Beatles period, 1957-1963, and 16 of them made the top 40 on Billboard. You probably won't find much here that duplicates songs you already have on CD. Highly recommended.
