La Trayectoria CD music
$12.05 After an OK enough debut EP, Run Run Run's first full-length effort has a little more meat on its bones, though admittedly it's a pleasure that feels caught in a tension between 1969, 1989, and the present. The line of descent that runs from the Brian Jonestown Massacre to the Warlocks and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club has resulted in a southern California psych rock style that seems convinced that nothing much has happened since Kim Fowley and Rodney Bingenheimer were the mayors of Sunset Strip, and it grows wearying to hear the same moves redone, however enthusiastically. Run Run Run, though unable to shake that jones completely, also bring in a guitar pop glaze that recalls more recent forebears from the U.K. plus an appreciation of crisp, punchy delivery that ...
| | Zakk Wylde ..The Eclectic Redneck Revolution Has Begun... CD (2001)
La Trayectoria music CDs
$15.19 "Eclectic Redneck Rock" is the self-coined phrase that best sums up what this Huntsville, AL-based band is all about (and no, we're not really "rednecks"). Basically put; a group of fun-loving, high-energy, full-on, balls-out, straightforward, no bullshit rockers from the South, but with a unique style, wisdom and savoir-faire that transcends most other bands of equal years. Our music is as diverse as the backgrounds we come from, thus everything that has gone into making up who we are as musicians also goes into the music we write and perform. We are a band that writes from the heart despite whatever "Flavor Of The Month" sound may be hip at the time. No matter what others may try and label us....our creative boundaries know no limits. Many have asked us, "Why aren't you actively pursuing a record deal?," and to them we can only reply: "Because there is nothing more important to us than to simply ...

La Trayectoria CD music
$15.19 I became interested in music when I was about ten. My Mom got this little keyboard. It was the kind you might find at a Wal-Mart with 37 keys and a few cheesy sounds. I loved playing songs on this keyboard by ear. A man that worked for my Dad played the guitar and taught me some basic chords to songs like "Amazing Grace". This was a big step in my piano playing because once I got those chords down pat I started learning new ones and variations of them. For the next couple of years I kept on learning and improving and also upgrading my previous keyboards with bigger and better ones. So far though, I was only playing on a 61 note keyboard and was feeling limited. I was so happy when I got my 88 weighted key digital piano. When I was around thirteen, I was getting ready for bed when I thought of the words to a song. That night I wrote my first song called, "The Lighthouse". I felt like the words came right from God and just fell onto the paper. Also around that time, I was asked to play in a friend's wedding. The only place I had played in front of people before was at a friend's piano recital as guest pianist. I accepted the invitation and a couple of months later I was playing in front of about 250 people at the wedding. I had a great time and feel it was a wonderful experience. A few months later I wrote another song and from then on I started writing songs quite often. I am 18 now and have written over 100 songs to date. I have written the music to numerous songs and have done the lead singing on a few songs for others. I play mostly by ear but I can also read some music. Even though I have never had piano lessons, I don't feel limited at all. I feel like I can learn at my own pace. Around October 2004,I joined an online forum called CSO (Christian Songwriting Organization). I have done quite a bit of collaboration work with people on there and have learned a lot. I am always encouraged by the people on the forum and am so glad I joined. As the years go on, I hope ...
