Already going in with high expectations, I was blown away. They walk a tightrope between different genres that makes it hard to classify them, not that they don't fit in any rock genre just fine, it's just you don't want to sell them short. TC's vocal work and songwriting is further proof of her seemingly endless talents. I can't beg anyone considering giving them a listen enough to take a shot and give them a chance, they deserve it, and better yet you deserve to experience this stellar piece of music.Lady Parasite - Satiate's debut record is a very beautiful and dark record that never fails to intrigue. TC's vocals are some of the most interesting vocals I have ever heard. Lyrically the band is quite complex with it's poetry and never become dull or "cheesy." Satiate is definitely a band that should get more recognition for its dark, moody and quite often heavy rhythms and melodies. If you like this record check out TC's other band, TCR, with Agent Moulder, formerly of Jack Off Jill.
