hmmm...
well, something about this collection bother me. maybe the live tracks which just repeat what was before and could of instead add like "mean streets" and 2 other ones from either roth and hagar albums. but at this point when it was released hagar returned for a short time. word is now Eddie played bass on all the new tracks and micheal Anthony didn't play at all. if you saw the last tour that was the last with Anthony at this point since roth is now back and eddie's son wolf plays bass and background vocals. i think too much hagar era has been played and it is finally time to play classic vh. remeber when they rocked? go see the tour and remember. as for this compilation i think this and the single disc suffer from lack of this and that but the single one is better with the new roth tunes rather than this. hopefully they release the other hits collection with just roth songs.

Horrible Remastering
What a shame to wait all this time for remastered Van Halen only to have terrible sound! The songs sound like they were mastered for a transistor radio. There is so much treble in these mixes that you will run from the room plugging your ears. Way too bright. Very dissappointing.

What Can I Say?
All the hits are here. The 3 new 'Sammy' songs are good. As always with 'best of' packages, there's always something else that could've been added and something else left off. Ya can't please everybody.
What i'd REALLY like to see is a 'live' one from the Dave era.
