Bob Carpenter - Sun, The Moon & The Stars Album Track Listing
Sun, The Moon & The Stars CD music. The Sharp Things take the name of their second album, A MOVEABLE FEAST, from Ernest Hemingway's classic memoir chronicling the misadventures of expatriate American writers in 1920s Paris. This is likely by design as the Sharp Things, an 11-member collective out of New York City, view themselves as on the outskirts of indie rock, playing inventive pop in combinations that recall everything from 1970s grandeur crossed with Stax/Volt emotion ("Cruel Thing") to Pulp riffing on Neil Diamond ("Driving in Manhattan in My Car"), all the while keeping the spirit of the Big Apple front and center.
Audio Mixers: Prince Polo; Clay Wells Holley; Alex Lipsen.
Photographer: Dennis Kleiman.
