possibly the best mellodic metal album in years i just had to be one to review this album. this is in my top 5 list of favorite metal albums. i cant begin to tell you how amazing this album really is. dc cooper is just untouchable on this cd. his voive soars above all the rest and should earn him a spot in the metal hall of fame. and alexander beyroodt just never ceases to amaze with his supreme guitar style, this guy is in my opinion up there with the rest of the true metal guitar wizards. this album is so catchy i could sing it for days, so many awesome anthems and ballads here this is a power(mellodic)metal lovers dream come true. if you like pretty maids, or axel rudi pell, or harsher metal like primal fear or even wolf or nocturnal rites you are sure to love silent force, and what about that artwork. the art nearly describe the music perfectly, beautiful and energetic, but also dark and agressive. i put this album in at night when i go to bed sometimes and just let it take me on an amazing metal ride. i hope silent force stay around for many years to come cause with their talent i truly can see them at the top of the metal heap looking down on the rest like tiny ants. if you love power metal, if you like it catchy fast and ferocious, or if you like it calm and exhillirating, then you cant go wrong with this album, truly the best of the year, also beside of this album here are a few others that stand beside of this album. try WOLF(evil star),TAD MOROSE(modus vivendi)and also try out NOCTURNAL RITES, and STRATOVARIUS. trust me metal brothers and sisters, this album is worlds apart from the rest in the fact that it truly kicks a*#.

Worlds Apart album
$13.85 It's easy to belittle power metal bands because they often marry portentous musical ambitions with hackneyed Manowar-like posturing that only a 12-year-old could possibly buy into; Germany's Edguy, however, are clever enough to flip those tables by making it evident that they don't take themselves all that seriously. Eight albums into the quintet's career, Edguy have in many ways succeeded where genre daddies Helloween first bit the dust -- injecting ample doses of fun, on-stage glam-metal gymnastics, Scorpions-like face pulling, and unselfconscious humor into what is normally an outwardly austere musical style, and 2006's Rocket Ride is no exception. Possibly validated even further by the recent emergence of Britain's the Darkness, this album's relaxed vibe begins ...

| | P O D Greatest Hits: The Atlantic Years CD (2006)
Worlds Apart CD music
$11.65 Hailing from San Diego's Mexican border community San Ysidro also known as Southtown P.O.D. formed in the early '90s when Marcos (guitar) and Wuv (drums) began jamming. Short for "payable on death,' P.O.D.'s 1999 Atlantic debut The Fundamental Elements Of Southtown gave title props to the band's hometown, and saluted its multicultural roots with a bold fusion of hip-hop, rap-metal, alt-rock, reggae, grunge, latin, jazz, and more. Also blending in contemporary Christian elements, the disc topped that chart in Billboardr and found mainstream success with ...
