Extraordinary!
To put it blatantly, I love this album.
The interplay between Baron, Eskelin and Swell is ridiculous! It might not be the average, everyday listener's cup of tea, as the entire album walks along the line of being either sonically abrasive, or musically brilliant.
To get into the music itself, each piece centers around a riff or a central idea that shows just how talented these three guys are- For being a trio completely devoid of a chordal instrument, the sound can take you by suprise with how thick and full it is. Swell and Eskelin really do a great job of playing the melodies together, and they provide interesting textures against Baron's creative patterns.
Solo work on here is spectacular!(but that is subjective to each listener)
I highly recommend this to anybody who knows anything about music.

Out of tune.
I bought this for my Joey Baron collection.Whatever they were drinking when they recorded this CD...I don't want any! These guys are are all over the map on this one;And out of tune to boot.At the very least you will get to hear Joey bang the drums.
