Symone opens smartly with the peppery, jacked-up dance single "Mystify," followed by the throwback soul of the scorned-woman declaration "Backflip." She displays her comfort around a ballad on the fetching "What Is Love?," along with a predilection for poetry on the wide-eyed "Alice." On THIS IS MY TIME, Raven Symone declares herself an adult, and the result is a charming coming-out record.

Raven Symone's time in the spotlight began at a ridiculously young age as the precocious three-year-old Olivia who repeatedly popped by the Huxtable household in the waning years of THE COSBY SHOW. Her recording career started similarly early, with the 1993 kiddie-rap record HERE'S TO NEW DREAMS. The talented actress/singer stayed in the public eye while growing up, and at age 18 she released her third record, THIS IS MY TIME. A long way from tracks like "First Day of School" and "Hip Hop Teddybear," Symone here offers up music that is sweet, melodic, and definitely mature R&B, in the vein of another singer who got her start as a kid on a popular TV show--Janet Jackson.

5 stars This is definitely HER time
I would have to respect her. She's a VERY talented young woman, having her own show/movie on the Disney channel (a very good actress I might add) and then coming with her CD. She has an incredible voice and that's a key thing of becoming a great singer. Keep up the good work Raven.

5 stars very excellent show of talent
"This is My Time" song is very cool song .The beats are really hip and mystify song is too rockstar type song.It is really a great combination.Teen Queen raven has done a greaty job.Shes really a very sweet and beautiful actress and Now proved that she is even a Rockstar and great singer.

From sweetness on Tha cosbys to Hawtnezz on Disney Channel! Raven has a verii awsomlicouzz boice and can sing her deput album, This is my time has a lot of her hits she has made a lot of songs but this cd made most uv her songs most commonly known! And most commonly known would be, Backflip Big UPS TO RAVEN SHE HIT IT BIG TYME!

I like the because it was mix with r&b and pop music. Also i wish that raven symone second undeniable was in stores. I hope she make a raven symone greatset hits album when she put all her songs from three albums in one cd.
