Allow me to introduce to you the newest member of the Wellingtons catalogue Heading North For The Winter! We're really proud of this one, bursting with nothing short of the best ten songs we could come up with over the past 18 months or so. It was a lot of blood sweat and tears plus some major sleep deprivation in the studio but here it is! We thought we'd stick with the ten song formula (U.K and Japan releases however have bonus tracks) that we've done with the first two albums. I'm sure you'll agree when you hear it that it's our bet effort yet! Everyone who has heard already heard it agrees, so it may just be all down hill from here, but let's worry about that later!Allow me to get serious for a second... The producer, Matt Maddock's done a great job with the production of this brand new album and the artwork's cute as hell right? Thanks to Vicki from Meomi design.In these tough times for record labels we're also SUPER excited to inform you all that we've been blessed enough to have struck up record deals in FOUR new countries! We'll have a September release on U.K label Lo-Jinx (home of the most excellent powerpop band, Farrah) & Spain's Rock Indiana (home of so many great pop and rock records). Then the fabulous U.S label Zip records will follow in October and we're also very excited that we'll be releasing Heading North For the Winter later this year or early next in Malaysia! Unfortunately the Australian release is a work in progress so you'll have to be patient...
