$8.39 The ever so, fast growing, In Da Lab records, brings you the highly anticipated album, from Chi-Town's lyrical fiend, Major, "Master and Juggernaut of Rhymes", available now! Featuring the hit single, "It'z Me", that's burnin up the airwaves and clubs. The album also includes future classic, such as, "Liquidda," "Bustin Loose" and the cunning tale about "The General's Daughter."Major made a name for himself with the debut single "Zone of My Own", which was an instant hit on WGCI's "Slam it or Jam it"and "Home Jam". Major was also featured on a Chicago compilation album in 2000, with not one, but, two heavy hitters, "Robbery" and "Two Hott"(which smoked in clubs), this help create his strong following in the Midwest. Major has been performing in local clubs and colleges, visiting local and college radio stations, doing guest spots, offering a freestyle here and there. Also doing promos for dj shows such as, power92 Spank Boogie's, "Boogie Knights" show and The Chocolate Jocks.Once in a while you hear somebody with potential, and Major is just that person. There is definately a way for this cat to make it big if he stays focused and continues to do what he does. This cd is one of the better releases from the Indalab label and it even made regular play on my cd player. You can hear clearly that Major is hungry for this rap game, and that's what always makes it interesting to listen to an album like this. Check this, perhaps not now, but maybe in 2 years I see Major getting a really good deal with a label. That's if he keeps focused. The first track Don't Fuck Wit Us was pretty dope, and catcy too, the only thing I did not like was the cheesy chorus. It'z Me I thought was nice to listen to for the sample that was used in the production. I'm sure I've heard that sample somewhere before, I just can't place it. Revenue is another track I'm loving here. But the best track on here is Deep Freeze, yeah, now this is something that I can play in my ride. Take a couple ...

Do Nada Ao Tudo album
$14.19 When I compose, I write about what is in my heart, so I wasn't surprised that I wrote about my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I never categorized myself as a Christian artist, but as the songs began to unfold, I realized that I was writing about the tortured life of Christ. I didn't focus on His Message or saving some misguided souls, I was writing about the pain He suffered mentally, physically and spiritually.Overall, the album is rather dark and reflects a very trying period in my own life, in my own soul. Through my writing, I could relate to the Lord's pain. Of course, neither on the scale nor the magnitude He suffered, but I was in my very own private Hell. I used this mindset, this pain, to create the album. Dan McIntosh from Spin Magazine wrote, "It is essential to listen to all of these tracks together because this is concept music. It would be difficult, for instance, to take in some of the music apart from the whole, and truly get it." Dan really gets it. The album is a journey. It not only reflects Christ's suffering but it explores the bigger picture of the epic battle between good and evil. The first track, "Prologue," introduces the album with of sense of restlessness. I rely upon strings or orchestral elements to convey strong emotional sections in my pieces. This is why I used only violins, violas and cellos to create this piece."The Battle" is about the war for my mind, my soul. When I was writing this piece, I thought about my Lord and how He was tempted by the Devil in the desert. Sometimes the battles we face in our minds are worse than the scars we suffer physically. That was the message I sought to convey in "The Battle". I wrote the instrumental piece, "Alchemy," several years ago and I thought it was a good fit, following the theme of the album. Written using synthesizers, a drum machine and a Fender Stratocaster guitar the song is about how man perceives himself in the universe and foolishly believes he is God's equal, thus the title, "Alchemy": the turning of lead into gold."Forsaken" is a song that truly resonated with me. Tortured by demons, I sometimes felt abandoned by God, as if He didn't care. I felt forsaken, and the Lord's Words drifted through my mind, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" (Mat 27:46)I was grappling with the lyrics for the song, "Deception". I wanted to explore the feeling of an unconditional love that goes completely unappreciated; a feeling that Christ would have felt, but also a feeling that we all experience at one time or another. I discussed this concept with my wife, Renee, and being the gifted writer she is, the following day she handed me the lyrics I had so desperately sought. My only question to myself was, why didn't I ask her earlier?!!"Judas" is a departure in style from the first pieces on the album. Here I wanted to explore, capture and combine the elements of acoustical ambience, symphonic metal and orchestral grandeur. The song paints the picture of the conversation between Satan and Judas. I sang both parts, and you will hear two completely different styles. I wanted Judas to sound weak, defeated, pained; and Satan to sound dismissive, cunning and convincing. I used one of my favorite vocalists as my inspiration for the Satan vocal, Roy Khan from the power ...
