Jelly Jam II Slays Me!!
OMG! This is the most incredible, wonderfully complex, multi-layered project I have heard in a long time. This is, most definitely, Jelly Jam coming into their own as a group. I love the first Jelly Jam and still listen to it frequently, But JJ II is a weapon of mass destruction! This is the best of Ty Tabor, hands down. He never ceases to amaze me with his depth as a musician. I'm a lifetime King's X fanatic. I am discovering Rod Morgenstein anew! Holy crap!! I think he has alien DNA! He leaves me speechless with his drumming wizardry. I could go on. ...and John Myung is a nuclear powerhouse. His playing on JJ II is subtle, steady, incredibly powerful, and so in the pocket. If you want to explore John's flash and versatility as a player, you'll see it on the first Jelly Jam project. If you want to experience his maturity, control, subtlety as a bassist, AND witness a great example of controlled demolition by a bass player, check out JJ II ! If you don't have it yet-- GET IT NOW! Just do it!

I was hoping for more.
I just got my order of 4 albums in from CD Universe (Neal Morse Testimony DVD & ONE, the Jordan Rudess disc, and this this one. I was really open and ready to expect anything from the guys, but found Jelly Jam 2 bland and predictable. Not 1 goosebump or whoa, let be back up and listen to that again. Think I'm gonna sell it used.

If you love KingsX, you'll love this
Have had it for a week now and must have listened to it a hundred times over. Have always been a KingsX fan as well as Dream Theater and The Dregs. Am not the least bit disappointed with this collaboration of great musicians. Buy it!

Jelly Jam has done it again!
It's all there; Ty Tabor's vocals and harmonies, slick but clean guitar riffs, Bass and Kick drum licks so tight you'll swear they were tied together; pushed and syncopated rythyms and odd time signatures. It's a cool way to rock. If you're a musician, you'll appreciate it; if you just like to rock and hear a grinding guitar, you'll be in heaven. Buy it and play it LOUD!
