Blindspott is all about: aggresive, emotional but not emo, honest metal/hard rock style, no gimmicks, bullsh*t or make up, above all hard, honest and REAL.
You reviewers who say this is dated and generic ... FK U!... BS was the 1st nu-metal band playing in 1998 before Linkin Park.. You're complete asswipes Submitted by bruce_xma (WEST AUCKLAND) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
First of all This isn't metal or anything close to it.
If you are into nu metal you will like this album otherwise don't bother, it's pretty generic and dated. The new album is a vast improvement, but that's because the producers made them loose the nu metal style...

I would recommend this to any hardcore metal fan.. :D:D This is by far one of the best Metal bands to emerge from good old New Zealand. The album contains 14 amazing tracks such as "nil by mouth", Phelx, "S.U.I.T", "llah (silent war)" and practically all the tracks stand out :D .... yes even Interlude...
Look out for their new singles "DROWN" and their second album due out soon .. well i hope anyways Submitted by kiwiindian000 (Auckland,NZ) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No

| | Katatonia Night Is The New Day CD (2009)
Blindspott CD music
$14.38 The latest album from Swedish doom rockers Katatonia, their first studio effort since 2006, is as moody and beautiful as their other latter-day work. The group's career can be marked in two stages based on the condition of singer Jonas Renske's vocal cords -- basically, after the band's first two albums, he developed health problems that prevented him ...
| | Epica Design Your Universe CD (2009)
Blindspott music CDs
$13.15 Dutch pomp-metal band Epica, fronted by classically trained mezzo-soprano Simone Simons, released their second album for Nuclear Blast only a year after their label debut, the more unique The Classical Conspiracy. That two-disc live set found them performing a mix of classical works and their own songs with backing by a full orchestra and choir. This album offers more of their bombastic goth metal songs, with Simons' ...
| | IQ Frequency CD (2009)
Blindspott songs
$14.35 It isn't hard to find listeners who aren't huge fans of progressive rock on the whole but are passionate followers of certain prog bands -- and if you ask them why they enjoy Pink Floyd, Yes, or the Moody Blues so much more than they enjoy other prog bands, they'll tell you that their favorites have mastered something that the others haven't: great hooks. And without a doubt, hooks are a major reason why some of IQ's most devoted followers are people who don't necessarily buy a lot of prog rock CDs. Hooks are certainly a major plus on Frequency, which has an immediacy that a lot of prog recordings lack. This 2009 release ...
| | Tool 10,000 Days CD (2006)
Blindspott album
$11.75 To its legion of fans, everything the band Tool does is an event, but the elaborate plan behind their sporadic release schedule--roughly five years, on average, between albums--is due primarily to the time and effort the band packs into each successive effort. To title their fourth album 10,000 DAYS, then, isn't as much an exaggeration ...

| | Michael Brennan Cautious Man CD (2006)
Blindspott music CDs
$16.45 Michael Brennan:Portrait of a cautious man who sings the truthMichael Brennan is a big man. Looks a little ragged, like many people who teach for a living, have wives and families, and don’t drive late model cars fresh off GM’s production lines. But, as the saying goes, don’t judge a book by the cover.Michael Brennan is on stage, fronting his crack edgy country band, The Wayward Angels, with some of the best musicians in Toronto. He’s in charge and suddenly the attention is on a voice that rumbles and trembles, and on songs that are as true and direct as the man who is singing them.Michael Brennan is the voice of REAL country music in Toronto. “Country” with edge, true stories, full of honest characters who’ve loved and lost more often than they’ve won. There’s sentiment here, but not much sentimentality. He’s seen too much; this is the sort of guy who’s been there and done that — and survived.Michael Brennan’s story: Cape Breton, Nova Scotia born and raised, moved from the salt air to Toronto’s smog, settled down, and formed The Wayward Angels. Four years of hard graft in bars and clubs, and, finally, one well-received and well-reviewed CD. Writers described the self-titled Angels’ CD as “strong-armed country rock with a touch of rockabilly” and “powerful” (the latter from a Belgian music magazine).Six years later — with vitally important time in between to raise a family, dig into a teaching career (math is his specialty), and write more songs — Brennan is back. Cautious Man is a collection of 11 of those songs, recorded with his core band: Dave Tufford (Melody Ranch) on guitars, John Adames (Prarie Oyster) on drums and Dennis Pinhorn (Downchild) on bass. Icing ...
