If you recall the earlier hits of Miss Dynamite, give a listen to this collection!What a great treat! Recently redone, the voice is a strong as ever, yet on these wonderful ballads,a more mature sound.The arrangments behind are her vocals are fab. She still proves she can rock with the best of 'em in Coming on Strong,Dum,Dum,And Sweet Nothing's. No wonder this lady is the worlds best selling female vocalist. If your a Brenda Lee fan this is a MUST for your collection, if your not, you will be after hearing this! Way to go Miss Dynamite..your still the BEST!

There have been plenty of George Strait compilations, and most of have been very good, but none have been as good as 2004's 50 Number Ones. While the 1995 box set Strait Out of the Box illustrated the range and depth of Strait's musical achievement, it may have been too lengthy for some listeners, and shorter compilations like the two-volume The Very Best of Strait left too many hits behind -- and by 2004, all those compilations were out-dated, since Strait continued to top the charts until the release of 50 Number Ones. ROLL ON is a perfectly apt title for a J.J. Cale album. Since the release of 1971's NATURALLY, the Oklahoma-based guitarist and songwriter has happily stuck to his own unique, low-key style. Released shortly after his 70th birthday, ROLL ON continues the easy-going lope of Cale's career, as if the five years since his last album (not counting the 2006 collaboration with longtime acolyte Eric Clapton, THE ROAD TO ESCONDIDO) had never passed.
