Hallelujah! In a rare case of an album title truly matching its contents, WOW GOSPEL 2005 is indeed an exclamation-inspiring collection of first-quality modern gospel. These aren't sleepy, old-time church songs, but rather, largely upbeat, utterly contemporary, and overwhelmingly joyful, praise tunes.
Deitrick Haddon's "God Is Good" sounds like Prince, Michael Jackson, and Stevie Wonder sharing the stage for a rump-shaking funk jam circa 1983, while "In Your Name" finds John P. Kee using his powerful, blues-shouter voice to belt out one gut-bustingly soulful verse after another. With "Again I Say Rejoice," Israel & New Breed deliver a fusion-influenced dance number featuring a rhythm section that would please even the most chops-loving Dave Matthews Band fan. WOW GOSPEL 2005 is an uplifting two-disc introduction to the genre.

Wow Gospel 2005 Music Review Average Rating: (4 out of 5 stars)   OUTSTANDING CD.
I really enjoy this wow CD 2005 that I purchased from CD universe...the music transitions from spirit lifting praise songs into soul awakening worship songs...as usual..it's a wow CD..therefore, you receive two CD's...one of my favorite songs is on CD 1 ..track 14...which is "prayer" by Donnie Mcclurkin & Yolanda Adams..overrall, I will say that this is one of the greatest CD's that will awaken the love of Christ in an individual's life...so...go ahead and grab your copy for a cheaper price from CD universe.

Wow is definately a Wow treat
This ushers you into the Holy Spirit. It embraces the broken needy and the depressed. It uplifts the heart and cleanses the mind. After the rejuvenation it makes you worship. It unveils the worship that has bottled up inside. I love this praise and worship cd. I love the prayer, let it rain just to name a few. Get this cd it is the only the begining of the blessing that the Lord has in store.

The cd is the best they have came up with since 1998. I love WOW Gospel 2005 five. there is not a song on the cd I would not play more than five times. It is just a great ablum.

I enjoy the various styles, sounds and artists that accompany a compilation CD, but this one did not do it this time! It is one of the worst gospel compilations yet!
