This edition sounds terrible This is a 5 star album but most of the available reissues have very poor sound quality. The Sunpots edition is the one to get. By ronankeane23

excellent this album was even better than i expected. (disregarding the bonus tracks) every song was a gem of true early psychedelia. i dont care, but i know some people might: the sound isnt great. it is remaster, but either it was not done very well or the original was not in very good quality; either way, the sound is a little fuzzy. other than that, it gets five from me. Break out the pot and acid and crank pu the volume. I first heard this when it was pressed as an LP in 1966 or so, and yes I was stoned. You're Gonna Miss Me is a great lead off to a great rock album. I don't like the bonus tracks, poor sound quality and they aren't consistent with the original album tracks. Any way this is my first review and is ONLY one person's opinion.

Thumbs up or down? This album is a bit of a puzzle to me. I had only read of the Elevators prior to purchase. They certainly have the garage rock sound, like very early, or very recent Electric Prunes, however it may take multiple listening to appreciate what some professional reviewers consider a masterpiece group. At the moment I can't see the tag sticking, but the album is certainly worth a listen and at the price, probably a purchase. By R.M.T.
