Ash Rocks!
I'm short on words today, so I'll just say this CD rocks!! Love it!! Love Ash!! Why oh why hasn't the US of A caught on to them yet? An excellent Irish rock band, to say the least! Tim Wheeler is awesome! Buy it, buy it, buy it!

how does ash just keep getting better and better!?!?
when i heard ash's last album--"free all angels", i told myself that there is no way that ash could ever make an album as awe-inspiring as this one.
was i wrong! after a few listens to "meltdown", it seems that ash can now do no wrong. it's just a shame that they have yet to make it big in the US.
ash are just as pop as ever, but man! some of these songs are HEAVY. the group has always been loud and punky (which was always just fine with me), but meltdown has some genuinely heavy, gritty guitar magic. "orpheus", "clones", and the title track borrow guitar licks from harder groups, such as disturbed and (especially) trust company and do it really well. tim wheeler may not have a deep, metal voice, but his has always worked great for ash; now you also hear more of charlotte's harmonies and it just adds a beautiful new depth and definition to music (listen to "starcrossed").
there is more maturity in the music, the musicianship is tighter and more cohesive (especially the drumming!), and every song is classic ash. if you love ash, this album surely will not disappoint; if you need an album to get you going, this will be it. "meltdown" is a true rocker.
