Backyard Babies Tinnitus Songs Tinnitus Music Review Average Rating: (4 out of 5 stars) Its Great Having bought this album without actually hearing any of the songs, it has grown on me to become my favourite album. Excellent by the boys from Sweden Submitted by ace_kiss_frehley (Wick, Scotland) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
Buy it! These guys has been around for a long time and are big in Europe and Japan. It is quiet strange that US has not picked up on them yet as they are the best sleeze rock thing since GnR.
They will go a long way! Submitted by magx (Stockholm) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
Great intro for US fans A good selection of tracks with 4 songs from each of their last 3 albums. With the US version of "Total 13" long out of print and the others being costly imports, this is the best place for US fans to start. Purchase Tinnitus CD To buy, Click on price to add to cart | Paul Butterfield Blues Band CD (1965)
Tinnitus
$6.19 The '60s Blues Revival begins here. Calling this album influential is an understatement akin to calling the Grand Canyon a rut; suffice to say that an entire generation of musicians (mostly young and white) heard this and had their lives changed forever. In fact, for at least a year after the album's release in 1965, it was impossible to walk down the hall of any college dorm in America without hearing one of the songs here echoing from somebody's ...
| | Elliott Smith Xo CD (1998)
Tinnitus
$11.99 The Cinderella-esque climb from lo-fi indie cult artist to Grammy nominee/major label darling must have been a perilous one for Smith, who makes the leap to the big time here after three well-regarded albums on small labels. He's lost none of his bite, though. The production values on XO may be slightly higher, but Smith's vision remains undiluted.
The production, centered around acoustic guitar augmented by keyboards and lush vocal harmonies, recalls pop icons like the Beach Boys (especially on the closing acapella cut), Beatles and Big Star, but this is no sunny Cali-pop album. Leavening ...
| | Elliott Smith Figure 8 CD (2000)
Tinnitus
$11.99 On his first record since his Oscar nomination courtesy director Gus Van Zandt's use of his music in the film "Good Will Hunting," Elliott Smith returns with another album's worth of gorgeous misery. Like Nick Drake before him, Smith has the ability to conjure beautifully poignant pathos, wrapping it in an elaborately arranged package worthy of a George Martin or Brian Wilson. Working with Beck/Foo Fighters producer Rob Schnapf, Smith uses Abbey Road Studios for some of these sessions, dressing up his tortured ...
| | VH1 Presents The Corrs Live In Dublin CD (2002)
Tinnitus
$6.79 This audio document of The Corrs' Dublin homecoming concert has pretty much everything fans of Irish pop could wish for, including an appearance from Bono in his earthly incarnation, fresh from an audience with President George W. Bush. It's to the band's credit that the charismatic singer fails to steal the show, despite creditable efforts via an anthemized version of Ryan Adams' beautifully downtempo "When the Stars Go Blue," and a great, leering rendition of Lee Hazlewood and Nancy Sinatra's "Summer Wine."
Somewhat more mysteriously, Rolling Stone Ron Wood also turns up on what sounds dangerously close to a lounge version ...

| | Dredg Catch Without Arms CD (2005)
Tinnitus
$8.49 Early on, critics often described Dredg as a metal group. However, the quartet has since matured into a hard-edged indie-rock ensemble that seeks diversity and refinement in its music. On CATCH WITHOUT ARMS, the band favors highly orchestrated parts, dense guitar riffs, and powerful drumming. Each ...
| | Emmylou Harris Cowgirl's Prayer CD (1993)
Tinnitus
$9.49 You've got to know an album that opens with the line "I hear the clock a-tickin'" is going to demonstrate more than a passing interest in the process by which we grow older and, hopefully, wiser. COWGIRL'S PRAYER, Emmylou Harris' 17th studio album, presents its somber meditations on life and love in an appropriately lovely, quiet acoustic setting. The overall mood of this record is adult and reflective, but not melancholy. On the contrary, as she declares on the opening track, Harris adamantly ...
