Franz Waxman: Objective Burma! Soundtrack CD

This score, is a good example of great film music, worthy of Franz Waxman mastery. Militarist music, that rhythmically remembers the going back and forth of a cluster of American soldiers, that are trying to drop out of the Burma´s jungle, infested by Japanese, during the World War II . The march, score's main subject, is excellent and extol the gallantry and heroism of that company. The quality of the compact disc is good and the fulfillment by the symphony orchestra of Moscow that was directed by W. Stromberg is very close to the original motion picture score. One can listen to this music time after time. But, you must bear in mind that, listening to the music in the film's context, is different than listen the single music. Therefore, I suggest seeing first the film, rendering special attention to the music and if you like it .. ! then you must buy this CD! . It is a musical jewel that can't be missing in the Errol Flynn´s fans and the classic movie soundtrack collections. I strongly recommend it
