Played Over and Over again I haven't taken this cd out of my car since I got it. Makes you not want to listen to anything else. one of the best cds in a long... long time. Must-have for any hiphop head. Submitted by makebelieve711 (Seattle, WA) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
Classical This is a great CD for the underground heads. The intro is bananas. If you haven't copped this yet, what are you waiting for. The production is very fluid. In my opinion, Murs, The Grouch, and Scarub come off the best. The Legends have been holding it down for a while now and the music is finally reaching the masses. Quality CD, their best to date. Kimbo's Review LOS Angeles This album is the best album put out by the Living Legends to date! They all came off "real," and represented the LA underground hip hop scene to its fullist. Sit back and chill when you listen to this album and it'll make you appreciate life! Submitted by Kimberly (Los Angeles Californis) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No

$10.25 Jumbo (of the underexposed Lifesavas) gets the action started with raw beats and quirky melodies on the consecutive remixes of "Hello" and "Pack Up." (The latter track features the incomparable KRS-One dropping by to drop some philosophy.) Some of the re-inventions are in the straight hip-hop vein (Young Einstein's take on "Do That There"), while others go further afield (the chaotic reworking of the politically charged "The Last Trumpet," featuring sharp scratching from DJ Shadow). New tracks include the hilarious "I'm Just Raw" and the bare-bones blues tune "Over You."
This remix CD/DVD contains five new songs and eight remix tracks that are similar to the originals only in name. Featured are stellar collaborations with artists including KRS-One, Evidence, Casual, and E-40 with production by Dan the Automator, DJ Shadow, Morcheeba, Chief Xcal, Jumbo the Garbageman, and Young Einstein.
On his years-in-the-making debut, LATER THAT DAY, rapper Lyrics Born scored a critical conquest, showing off a dizzying wit delivered in a measured, gravelly, bluesy style (check out his incredible turn on R.L. Burnside's ...

$8.49 Fatty Koo were introduced to the world via a reality TV show (BET's BLOWIN' UP!: FATTY KOO) long before their debut album came out, which might create the wrong impression about the six-member hip-hop act. While they're all telegenic, in or just barely out of their teens, and their undeniably catchy first single, "Bounce," has become a familiar NBA theme, Fatty Koo formed long before their life became TV fodder. They have talent running beyond looks (including virtuosity on the cello and saxophone), and create a sound far more rich and diverse than their youth and hit single would imply.
HOUSE OF FATTY KOO seems to constantly reinvent itself while dancing over pop hook after pop hook. Incorporating hip-hop, soul, Latin beats, opera, and anything else that may strike their fancy, Fatty Koo recalls early Black-Eyed Peas. The record opens energetically, with "Bounce" sandwiched between two similarly ...
