Ayreon Final Experiment: Special Edition CD

 Excellent, too bad its under rated
Despite his popularity this till remains one of Arjen Lucassen's most under rated albums, it has never received the recognition it deserves. Out of all the Ayreon CD's this has some of the most skillfully crafted progressive rock elements i have ever heard. If you like Ayreon and you havent heard this album, give it a shot and see where it all began!!

 great work, pure art !
The Ayreon saga is just getting better with this special edition of "the Final Experiment". Arjen is probably the most talented artist I know, intertoining riffs, vocals and melodies with such a grace. I love it!!

 Where the 70's were headed
Remember when music was an adventure, before corporate Big Music started refusing to sign any artist that wasn't a clone of the current best seller? Each Ayreon album takes you back to those days when music was original, magical, and exciting. Arjen Lucassen, the man behind the Ayreon project, has just finished a massive undertaking to remaster and reissue all of the Ayreon albums. This album, the first, is the only one to be reissued without extensive remastering due to unavailability of the original master tapes. The sound is still excellent and the music fresh, and it's hard to believe this recording was first released ten years ago. The bonus disc features newly-recorded acoustic versions of most of the original tracks, and these alone are worth the price. Arjen works with some of the best musicians and vocalists in the business to create his works, and it shows. Lucassen's project recordings, including Ayreon, Star One and Ambeon, prove that the corporate fat cats haven't a clue. Grab a copy and see where the 70's could have taken us.

 The 2nd disc is the coolest!
There are some realy interesting sounds on the 2nd disc!Worth listening
