En=Trance album. Kate Hart is an indie-pop/rock singer songwriter from New Jersey. She is heavily influenced by "twee" bands such as Cub, Go Sailor, and Dressy Bessy, as well as pop-punk bands like Chixdiggit, The Mr T Experience and The Unlovables.
The songs on Kate's first EP, Natural Born Wallflower vary greatly, because about half were written with the angst and pessimism of a 16 year old girl. The other songs were written more recently, with the self-deprecating, but overall positive attitude of a 20-something woman who is, mostly, comfortable and confident with herself and her place in life.
Kate occasionally plays acoustic sets and open mics in the Northern - Central New Jersey area. Scheduled shows are posted at myspace /khartmusic
