Almost exactly one year after the first installment of the Endless Jam, this edition picks up right where the first one left off. Guitarist Michael Schenker has shorn his hair metal roots (but retained his signature flying V guitar) in favor of a blues jam with fellow rock veterans Davey Pattison and Aynsley Dunbar, and has the time of his life doing so. The production is polished and top-notch, and Schenker's guitar playing has never sounded so uninhibited by cosmetic metal pretense. The group jams on some of blues-rock's most well-known numbers, with an emphasis on compositions by or featuring Eric Clapton's touch ("While My Guitar Gently Weeps," "Layla" and "Badge" among them). It's a solid disc that fans of Schenker will embrace with open arms. ~ Rob Theakston
great part 2 great second album with pattisson doing all the classic covers, my only problem is the way everything mike varney produces creates a modern sound to the guitar licks but this is s till classic schenker and a must for any schenker fan Submitted by SAXONMAN (hicksville new york) Was This Review Helpful? This Works! So many of these "cover" albums are poor at best, but this one works because Schenker is such a good player. I just love to hear him play and I do not really care what song he is playing over. Pattison is good, and the rest of the band is tight. Nothing original here, except for the Schenker treatment, so it does not rate 5 stars. However, if you like Schenker's playing, you definitely will like this album. The Best of 2. This is the second of the 2 Jam Albums. This is not a shred fest which Mr Schenker can be prone too. Good sold Rock & Roll If the Song selection seems a little obvious and Tributy don't be put off you'll love 'em. Submitted by ilovea2 (Australia) Was This Review Helpful? YesNo

Michael Schenker at his best Schenker Pattison Summit II is better than the first. Michael's playing is flawless and to hear his versions of these great old rockers is fantastic. It just goes to show that Michael Schenker is a Great guitarist and can play anything and make it sound unbelievable. Submitted by fromunda82 (Ramona California) Was This Review Helpful? YesNo

$13.15 MONUMENT is the 2003, seven-track release by Swedish metallists Grand Magus, including "Ulnafall" and "Summer Solstice."

$10.45 Surely the title is a bit of an allusion to the Past, Present and Future of its predecessor, but Modern Times also brought Al Stewart into the present, establishing his classic sound of folky narratives and Lennonesque melodies, all wrapped ...
