Patrick Gubler a.k.a. P.G. Six has always made music that defies easy categorization. Light years ahead of his contemporaries--he was playing accomplished acoustic sets well before the early-2000s freak folk explosion--Gubler has always let deft songwriting, multi-instrumental chops, and impeccable taste rule. 2007's SLIGHTLY SORRY, his fourth album and first for Drag City, revisits many of the touchstones that have defined his remarkable career.
