Flyleaf blew me away! I just saw flyleaf at Starland Ball Room in Jersey, while on tour with taproot and staind,Lacey completely shocked me! her vocals are AMAZING! The rest of the band completely rocked! And the CD is just as good, they give so much energy to the CD and on stage!!!! Submitted by Carlyn (South River, New Jersey) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
Buckle up and hold on!!! My first experience with Flyleaf was their live appearance on the Fall Brawl tour with POD and Staind in Amarillo, TX. Flyleaf brings a tremendous amount of energy both through their music and in person on stage. Their music is crisp and edgy, producing a technically solid foundation of sound to support Lacey's powerfully gripping vocals. Their live performance prompted me to purchase this album, then to find that I love every song on the album! Submitted by Matt (Amarillo, TX) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No

Flyleaf
$10.55 A buzz began to circulate over Belton, Texas, quartet Flyleaf when the band's debut EP first made the rounds. Fronted by singer Lacey Mosley, the band generates an enormous sound that draws on elements of nu-metal, screamo, and alternative rock, with Mosley's sometimes ferocious/sometimes sweet vocals lending the group a distinctive edge. Expectation ran high for the band's first long-player, but, luckily, Flyleaf's self-titled debut full-length doesn't disappoint. Leading off with the album's first single, "I'm So Sick," the album states its business and continues from there. There are hooks and melodic elements woven skillfully into the thrash, ensuring that Flyleaf's songs won't fade away as easily as many by their alt-metal contemporaries. But don't let Mosley's sometimes charming voice lull you: she can scream like a banshee, and the band hits with as much muscle as anyone on the scene. Fans of the genre are encouraged to check this out.
This limited edition CD/DVD set includes the original Flyleaf LP, plus exclusive acoustic versions of songs on both CD & DVD, behind the scenes interview footage, locker poster, ringtone, and wallpaper.

"This album has taken about three years to complete" says Will "and it was a personal journey that I needed to accomplish. My first love is music and to complete this album meant to me that I could do anything I put myself to." People tried to steer me in other directions, but it was my love of music that kept me focused and brought me this far. Music is what I hold on to as I move forward in my Journey. The 13 songs found on "SANCTUARY" are all a part of Will's unique and complex psyche. Along the way Will picked up some extraordinary players to round out the sound he wanted. Jason Nuccio and Billy Harkowsky (great pop songwriters) Ami Ortiz ( fantastic Vocalist and member of the 50's Girl Group "The Chantals" and collaborator Mike Degen (known in NY as one of the best independent producers available) whom, not only produced the album but tweaked most of the gadgets used to create Will's encompassing sound. Will doesn't only bring himself to the table when working on projects, he brings his professionalism, determination and a willingness to try new things. Will has never been afraid to push the envelope and its apparent in accomplishments Will has achieved in his short but varied career. In 1997 Will joined an Electronic Pop group called Carol Masters as the lead singer. Within a few short months Will was on touring with the band opening for such acts as Anything Box and Modern English. In 1999 Will decided to start laying the ground work for his debut album "Sanctuary". With no corporate sponsors, Will financed his project alone. In 2002, Will was on stage performing and wooing new fans everywhere. Those performances have garnered Will and award for Outstanding Achievement.Whatever direction Will takes, it will be sure to lead him to the success he deserves. His gorgeous album SANCTUARY is just a testament to the multidimensional facets of Will's personality strength and talent and a small window into the future of what Will has to offer.

$44.95 | | 10 Years Division CD (2008)
$9.99 DIVISION, the follow up to 10 Years' hit debut, THE AUTUMN EFFECT, reflects the turbulence in the band, and its emotional aftereffects, during the period following their breakout success. Songs like the storming opener, "Actions and Motives," and the emo power ballad, "Dying Youth," obliquely address this turmoil, while the first single, "Beautiful," and the unexpected sitar-and-tabla inflected "Alabama" stretch the Tennessee band's reach to include sounds and emotions beyond those heard on the more straightforward THE AUTUMN EFFECT.
