Daredevil skateboarder, prankster, music video director, and all-around hilarious cad Bam Margera is best known for his wildly popular MTV program VIVA LA BAM, an offshoot of the pioneering crazy-guys-doing-crazy-things show JACKASS. VIVA LA BANDS collects Margera's favorite music and is perfect for skating, don't-try-this-at home stunts, or just general rocking out. In other words, most of this is high-energy music of the hard rock, metal, and punk varieties. Because this is a compilation of one guy's favorites rather than a collection of corporate bands vying for soundtrack positions, the artists range from big-time (Clutch, CKY) to lesser-known (Bendover, Viking Skull). Highlights include "Lost Boys" from Finland's 69 Eyes, which sounds like a goth-infused combination of Motley Crue and The Cult, and Turbronegro's "All My Friends Are Dead," pure trashy '77-style punk with shout-along vocals, surfy guitar riffs, and a distinctly European flair.
CD features music from Atrocity, Beatsteaks, Bendover, Children of Bodom, CKY, Clutch, Cradle of Filth, D:A:D, Datsuns, Daniel Lioneye, Fireball Ministry, Helltrain, H.I.M., Kill Hannah, Negative, Smack, The 69 Eyes, The Rasmus, The Sounds, Turbonegro, Viking Skull. i love this cd!! i had it then i lost it.but i love the songs so i bought it again! and i love,love,LOVE! big shot by kill hannah.idk y.its just like...idk.something about it.lol.anyways.this cd rox my sox off!!!buy it!

best cd i have bought in a long time
i have to admit, i passed up on buying this cd once, then i found it again and just knew it was meant to be. and ever since, i play the cd all the time, i have downloaded just about every song onto my window media player. and i have even searched and found other cds by bands on this cd. such as kill hannah, HIM, Cradle of Filth, Children of Bodom and many more. im am currently waiting my kill hannah "for never and ever" cd to arrive in the mail.

Even though i have had this album for ages this is definitely the best album i own and Bam serious has great taste in music , this CD got me into cradle of filth and i went to see them last night and Dani rocked BEST ALBUM EVER every song rocks and HIM are best bnand ever am going to see them on 22nd january 2006, i had to order the cd from america and it was worth it!!!

I Love Bam and his choices in music. I bought the CD last night and can't stop listening to it. I'm a big fan of H.I.M., CKY, and the 69 Eyes. The rest of teh CD Rocks . Great taste in music.
