So it is with much excitement that we proudly offer up the debut album from WeStainPorcelain, an urban legend that in reality doesn't exist. But if it did exist, it would be backed by the technical wizardry of a big name engineer, the caustic genius of a Samoan Attorney, and own one of the finest record collections in the world.
The production on First Flush, with beats produced between 1997 and 2001, is steeped in the ancient art of digging, the process by which the producer diligently seeks out those obscure, rare and filthy old records in search of the hardest drums, the nastiest bassline, the most heart wrenching piano loop. In short, they search for the perfect sample.
The feel of this album is like getting hit with a face full of Fresh. It hits you hard, and right in the face, so you can't help being overwhelmed by its abundant freshness. This is music made to encourage French kissing and heavy petting. If we were to say this album was something like sex, we wouldn't be lying.
WeStainPorcelain first gained acclaim on the Anticon Gigasingle with the internet ultrahit 'Outlook' featuring Josh Martinez. The Gigasingle was distributed worldwide and had sales of over 30,000 units and brought the world's considerable interest to WeStainPorcelain's doorstep/toilet bowl.
First Flush features all the songs of summer, from some of Canada's world famous rap superstars.
