| | We Stain Porcelain Presents:First Flu CD
So it is with much excitement that we proudly offer up the debut album from WeStainPorcelain, an urban legend that in reality doesn’t exist. But if it did exist, it would be backed by the technical wizardry of a big name engineer, the caustic genius of a Samoan Attorney, and own one of the finest record collections in the world. The production on First Flush, with beats produced between 1997 and 2001, is steeped in the ancient art of digging, the process by which the producer diligently seeks out those obscure, rare and filthy old records in search of the hardest drums, the nastiest bassline, the most heart wrenching piano loop. In short, they search for the perfect sample. The feel of this album is like getting hit with a face full of Fresh. It hits you hard, and right in the face, so you can’t help being overwhelmed by its abundant freshness. This is music made to encourage French kissing and heavy petting. If we were to say this album was something like sex, we wouldn’t be lying.WeStainPorcelain first gained acclaim on the Anticon Gigasingle with the internet ultrahit “Outlook” featuring Josh Martinez. The Gigasingle was distributed worldwide and had sales of over 30,000 units and brought the world’s considerable interest to WeStainPorcelain’s doorstep/toilet bowl.First Flush features all the songs of summer, from some of Canada’s world famous rap superstars.like Kunga 219, Tachichi, Josh Martinez, and N.I.GEL from Pocket Dwellers. First Flush also contains the song “Paper People”, featuring Sixtoo (Ninja Tune), and has been made into an animated video. | | Macy Gray On How Life Is CD (1999)
We Stain Porcelain Presents:First Flu songs
$7.39 "Do Something" was nominated for the 2000 Grammy Award for Best Female R&B Vocal Performance.
"I Try" won the 2001 Grammy Award for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance.
The song was nominated for Record Of The Year and Song Of The Year.
It was no mean feat for an R&B singer debuting in 1999 to embody the aesthetics of vintage soul without resorting to retro '70s stylings. On her first album, Macy Gray manages to bring old-school values to a very contemporary sound. One is immediately struck by Gray's unique, sandpapery voice-something of a cross between Erykah Badu and Eartha Kitt. A powerhouse rhythm section ensures that the all-important ...

We Stain Porcelain Presents:First Flu music CDs
$11.89 This very evocative 1965 recording session was a cause for celebration not only among critics but among the bossa nova-crazed audiences of Brazil and the U.S, and it sold quite well. Donato is a jazz pianist first, and his allegiances in harmony and melody come from there first and foremost. But rhythmically and in his phrasing, he comes from the generation of Brazilian musicians who developed the bossa nova as an art form. His touch is light, his settings are lush and laid-back, and his playing is as much or more from his left hand as his right. Solos on these records are wonderfully ...
