| | Thrillseekers Nightmusic Volume 1 CDs (2005)
Trance Republic CD music
$15.65 The Thrillseekers NIGHTMUSIC VOLUME 1 is a hefty dose of pulsing, palatable trance-groove electronica. Aptly named, the two-disc set might make the perfect soundtrack to a late-night jaunt across an expansive desert. Amidst its heavy blankets of lush synthesizer, the Thrillseekers can drift into the netherzone between new wave and new age, but fans of these sounds and bouncing, techno-inspired beats will find much to love here. A second disc full of remixes doubles the pleasure.
DJ: The Thrillseekers.
Audio Remixer: The Thrillseekers.

Trance Republic songs
$13.85 Life In The Gladhouse - The Best Of Modern English 1980-1984 is an exquisite pop retrospective celebrating the joy of youthful romance (and a huge American video hit in the early days of MTV), 'I Melt With You' was something of an anomaly for this moody and experimental crew, whose songs generally tended to have titles like 'Black Houses' and 'Swans on Glass'. 16 tracks. 2001 4AD release.

| | Cribs Men's Needs, Women's Needs, Whatever CDs (2008) Bonus CD; Japan
Trance Republic songs
$37.25 Another band in the long line of British post-punk revivalists, the Cribs join contemporaries like Franz Ferdinand, the Futureheads, and the Kaiser Chiefs in the celebration of choppy, danceable rhythms, and guitars splayed at right angles, all powered by a serious blast of energy and melody. The Cribs major-label debut, MEN'S NEEDS, WOMEN'S NEEDS, WHATEVER (2007), mines this territory effectively, and, while the style may be somewhat played out, the band compensates by turning in a batch of excellent, absurdly catchy tunes that are by turns anthemic ("Our Bovine Public") and streamlined ("I've Tried Everything"). Franz Ferdinand producer Alex Kapranos gives the album its defining sound, wrapping up a pleasurable package of pure post-punk fun.
2007 Japanese release of the third album by Yorkshire's band of brothers, twins Ryan and Gary and their younger sibling Ross Jarman. The trio traveled to Vancouver, Canada to record this effort at Bryan Adams "haunted studio" with Alex Kapranos of Franz Ferdinand sitting behind the board in the producer's chair. This edition includes two bonus tracks: "Tonight" and "I've Tried Everything (Acoustic Version)".
The Cribs: Ryan James Jarman, Gary John Jarman, Ross Anthony Jarman.
Additional personnel: Lee Ranaldo.
