Conjuring up a great album I didn't get to see the movie till recently. The music fot the movie really captured my attention ,so much so that I must go out a buy this album.I love all the antiquated blues that dares to throw you back in time and sends chills up your spine!!! Haunting and evocative When the lights went down in the theater, the opening notes of the soundtrack took possession of me and has never let go. Alternating Edward Shearmur's haunting score and blues/cajun/dixieland tunes, the soundtrack conjures a sense of place and time....Louisiana, bayou country, New Orleans....that is a perfect blend for this film and becomes an organic part of it. Run, don't walk, to buy it. Submitted by khamsin59 (Ohio) Was This Review Helpful? YesNo 1 of 1 found this helpful.
