The first volume of the mix-tape HOOD HUSTLIN' series is heavy on tracks by host Pastor Troy (which, with his penchant for complex-yet-hooky tracks, is no flaw), while other tracks feature Nino, another sharp, street-eyed rapper, and another ... Full Descriptionplus. The up-and-coming MCs showcased on the collection are no slouches themselves, most notably the deep-voiced croon-rapper M. Calloway ("Boppin'") and crunk collective Mo Chedda Mobstaz ("Show That Thong"). The most ear-catching track may be the uncredited, untitled third track, a sharp skewering of Dirty South icons.

The mixtape go hard on da real troy just doin his thang solo on dem hoe's people hate and dsgb broke up but he held it down on the mixtape and the song Big Money. PASTOR TROY KING OF THE SOUTH. Boss P.C DSGB.

The albums' primary instrument is the guitar alongside the bittersweet voice of Christine. It's an acoustic based sound through a hazy lazy breeze of summer tunes and autumnal comedown tracks. “Suicide is the Last Thing on My Mind” was written by a slimmed down ALF and is focused on the song writing and playing of Nick Chamberlain-Hunt and Christine Ann Leach.
