5 stars A Creative Gift That Lives Up To Her Marketing
I fell in love with Thea Gilmore's work from her contribution, "Even Gods Do" on the tribute album, "Where's Neil When You Need Him?" When I looked (a year ago) for other CD's from Thea, I came up empty. The tracks on "Songs From The Gutter" live up to all of my (high) expectations and the album marketing. Thea is a gifted songwriting artist and a compelling performer. I'd describe the sound/feel of the album as Goth/Rock-Influenced Folk. (* * * * *)
