This is a DualDisc, which contains a CD on one side of the disc and a DVD on the other. True troubadours of arena rock and pop-metal, Bon Jovi were not only still standing in the 2000s, they were still releasing albums of original material ... Full Descriptionthat packed much of the melodic wallop and anthemic muscle of their efforts from the '80s and early '90s. A case in point is 2005's HAVE A NICE DAY, which finds the band mining a harder rock sound and producing bigger, more sweeping choruses than ever before.
Despite the classic Bon Jovi sound, however, singer Jon Bon Jovi's lyrics are by turns thoughtful (he even conjures the specter of Bob Dylan on "Bells of Freedom," a nod to Dylan's "Chimes of Freedom") and romantic ("Wildflower"). Though the mix doesn't always work, Bon Jovi sounds plenty energized here, and young-at-heart enough to still crank up the volume. HAVE A NICE DAY sports the streamlined rock punch and pop smarts on which the band has built its reputation.
This deluxe limited edition includes a dualdisc featuring the complete album including a song featuring Jennifer Nettle of Sugarland, on the CD side, plus on the DVD side, a Bon Jovi EPK - behind the scenes and 5 live performances.

| 100,000,000 Bon Jovi Fans Can't Be Wrong... CDs (2004) With DVD
Have A Nice Day album
$45.35 To commemorate both the band's two-decade mark in the music industry and the selling of 100 million records, Bon Jovi culled together this four-CD/one-DVD collection. An homage to Elvis Presley, both in the title and cover concept (with each group member wearing a gold lame outfit), this set pays tribute to Bon Jovi's fans, many of whose written testimonials are sprinkled throughout the accompanying photo-packed booklet. Jon Bon Jovi also contributes explanations of specific songs and his own thoughts about the band's 20-year journey.
Most importantly, the 50 tracks that make up the audio portion of FANS reinforce how this New Jersey outfit has managed to survive in a fickle market for so long--a wealth of well-written tunes built on a foundation of great hooks, heartfelt sentiment, and well-honed musicianship. There's plenty to sift through here, including demos of much-loved favorites ("Someday I'll Be Saturday Night"), soundtrack contributions ("Edge of a Broken Heart") and solid international B-sides ...
| | Def Leppard Rock Of Ages: The Definitive Collection CDs (2005)
Have A Nice Day CD music
$16.45 In the mid-1980s, there were few hard-rock bands as popular as Sheffield, England's Def Leppard. Influenced by the glam rock of Queen, Slade, and the Sweet, the quartet reveled in the style's high-energy elements, while trading the outlandish imagery for a no-frills, denim-clad look that made them even more accessible to the masses. With 1983's PYROMANIA and its delayed follow-up punch, 1987's HYSTERIA, Def Leppard became an international phenomenon, unleashing hit after hit, including the riff-heavy, shout-along singles "Rock of Ages," "Pour Some Sugar on Me," and "Armageddon It."
This collection presents every song on the previously released VAULT: GREATEST ...

$14.49 All tracks have been digitally remastered using 20-bit technology by George Marino (Summer 1998, Sterling Sound, New York, New York).
This is a DualDisc, which contains a CD on one side of the disc and a DVD on the other.
Bon Jovi took a few faltering steps with their promising self-titled debut album and its shoddy 7800 DEGREES FAHRENHEIT follow-up. However, it was with this third record, a mixture of New Jersey storytelling and songwriter/collaborator Desmond Child's keen awareness of commercial appeal, that the perfect equation of songs and suss was established. The almost noble "Wanted Dead Or Alive" spawned a thousand copycat monochrome, on-the-road videos, while the sure-fire snap of "Livin' On A Prayer" and "You Give Love A Bad Name" simply elevated the banner much higher.
This dualdisc includes ...

Have A Nice Day album
$12.45 Although the initial reports that LOST HIGHWAY was to be Bon Jovi's "country album" turned out to be somewhat overstated, it does sit comfortably at the meeting ground between commercial rock and commercial country that Garth Brooks started exploring in the early 1990s, and that folks like Big and Rich or Toby Keith mine successfully today.
In fact, Big and Rich continued their bid to appear on every album recorded in Nashville in 2007 by helping out on "We ...

$30.19 La ragazzina” (1974) is the first of the two Guida Imperoli movies (the second one, Blue Jeans was released in 1975). The movie directed by Mario Imperoli is a successful mix of drama and eroticism, very soft and never improper, ennobled by the graces of a very young and beautiful blonde actress Gloria Guida in a role of a lyceum student. Many school companions become enamoured of her, among them a boy who just wants to attitudinize. The girl prefers the young Art teacher who, without informing the girl, has a relationship with the wife of a lawyer. The plot of the movie is intriguing enough, the personages are well characterized and the summer location (the lovely town of Lignano Sabbiadoro in Veneto) makes the movie fresh and exciting. The atmosphere between romantic and erotic is underscored with the beautiful music of M°Nico Fidenco, one of the illustrious names of the Italian Film Music. Those days only a 45 rpm single from La ragazzina was issued officially (ERRE RR 3066) containing the songs Why are you running fas and The flag performed by the group La rosa dei venti (for contractual restrictions these songs cannot be enclosed here). Apart from the mentioned single, C.A.M. had issued a 33 rpm album as a part of their sonorization library album series (CML 068) containing the instrumental score by Nico Fidenco. This album is extremely rare, and it’s impossible to find nowadays. We wanted to issue this CD so as to give the chance to collectors to find easily a score that deserves to be preserved on CD. The score opens with the main theme, an acoustic ballade with waltz tempo (Tr.1), reprised in Tr.8 using the great whistle of Alessandro Alessandroni. The score is characterized by various brilliant dance floor themes as background to the parties attended by the girl (Tr.2,Tr.3,Tr.4,Tr.7,Tr.10,Tr.12). ...

Just bad.... not worth buying or listening to. Right up there w/This Left Feels Right. Submitted by Aaron Vee (Vancouver, Canada) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No 1 of 1 found this helpful.
Why is it that... mostly people from foreign countries like this album? Too much pop-nonsense. Proof that there is no God was when the band was up for best country song of the year. You went from Jon Bon Jovi to John Cougar. Submitted by Bribally Ex Machina (Flint Michigan) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No 1 of 1 found this helpful.
Bad, Bad, Bad... Aging guys trying to hang onto their slipping fan-base while no infusion of listeners is anywhere to be found with the poor song writing & musical composition of this latest effort. Submitted by Chandra (Ft. Worth TEXAS) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No 1 of 1 found this helpful.
Holy Cow!! Why isn't this in the Muzak section of Sam Goody? Why do wildflowers grow by the side of the road? Who cares? Ring the Bells is another song that says we're too old to do that young-kid rock & roll stuff anymore. No, you're not. For some reason they changed their focus musically & lyrically... not for the better. We all out grow Romper Room & Sesame Street, but don't you still listen to songs like Born to Run, Stairway to Heaven, Hells Bells, Mama Kin, Hey Jude & (insert your favorite songs here)? There was never anything wrong with a catchy guitar-hook, or some clever, tongue-in-cheek lyrics, or hell.. even when the band would do a chorus 50 times over in every song. The band is trying to grow up when no one is asking or wanting them to. Just my opinion. Submitted by Sara from the Sahara (Las Vegas, NV) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No 1 of 1 found this helpful.
