Hide Description Second Stage Turbine Blade Music Coheed & Cambria Second Stage Turbine Blade Songs Second Stage Turbine Blade Music Review Average Rating: (4 out of 5 stars) Still not matured enough Compared to the later releases from C&C, this their first album lacks mature songwriting and layered vocals. Still, it has its highlight. Ok, but not stellar. Submitted by skogspekka (Linköping, Sweden) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
best of their cd's i've loved this band for a long time and have all their albums and most of their dvds and this is the BEST out of EVERYTHING! all the songs sound different and they're all great. BUY IT! Submitted by kilgannon (the fence) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
Coheed's best album. As an avid coheed fan, having the entire discography, this would have to be my favorite CD by them. Time consumer, Delirium Trigger, everything evil and Neverender are four of coheed's greatest songs. 33 and Devil in Jersy City are catchy and pleasing. Junsong, hearshot and Godsend are different in terms of mainstream-ness, but thats what makes this album amazing. Second Stage Turbine Blade (Song) gives me the chills everytime i listen to it. Bonus matererial on the cd are worth the little extra cost. If anything, Buy this cd, then In keeping secrets, then Good Apollo last (but make sure you have them all, they're worth it). the progression of the coheed sound is amazing, and this is the album that started it all. | | Coheed & Cambria No World For Tomorrow CD (2007) Parental Advisory
Second Stage Turbine Blade album
$8.87 Like previous prog powerhouses Rush and Yes, Coheed and Cambria showcase an immediately divisive element in singer Claudio Sanchez's high, sweet voice--a choirboy lilt that undermines the musical muscle for some, while granting it an additional dimension for others. No matter the listener's opinion on the vocals, no one can deny the scope and ambition of C and C's vision. NO WORLD FOR TOMORROW is ...
| | TLC Crazysexycool CD (1994)
Second Stage Turbine Blade CD music
$7.59 CRAZYSEXYCOOL won a 1996 Grammy Award for Best R&B Album, and "Creep" won a 1996 Grammy for Best R&B Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocal. "Creep" and "Red Light Special" were both nominated for Best R&B Song; "Waterfalls" was nominated for Record Of The Year and for Best Pop Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocal.
The elements that had this precocious trio's debut album blasting out of playgrounds, top 40 radio stations and even rock critics' Walkmans are still here--infectious dance grooves, pop melodies and sassy raps that put '90s feminism into action.
But CRAZYSEXYCOOL also launches TLC from girlhood into youngwomanhood, with, on one hand, Janet Jackson-esque paens to sex ("Let's Do It Again") and, on the other, melodically downbeat ghetto ballads ("Waterfalls") that recall Stevie Wonder as a young man.
The scratchy world-weariness of the lead vocal in "Waterfalls" is one ...
