Outstanding
New songs, new sound, new Bic Runga.
There are no enough words to describe this wonderful and gratious new album.
I am thankful to have my son Eddie, who lives in NZ, and introduced me to Bic's music.
As usual, purity, innocence, love and optimism wraps around me when listening to her music.
Thank you so very much, Bic, for sharing your huge talent and art with the rest of us.

That's alright
I was very scared when I found out Bic was bringing out another CD. Could it get any better than "Listening for the Weather"? Well, that's pretty much the only introduction I need to write this review. I compare so many things to that song. But anyways, this album isn't really like any of her others. It's a mix between Beautiful Collission and Drive. It's kind of depressing and dark, but that could be due to the fact that it's the winter right now. But then there are songs that are more upbeat, but not too upbeat. If you're looking for an album full of songs like "Listening for the Weather" and "Get Some Sleep", then you won't be getting it. It has a familiar tone throughout the whole CD. Listening to "Beautiful Collission" again, I realize how fast it is. Every song has somewhat of a quick beat to it. I think maybe that kind of singing is how I like Bic's voice more. Like how her voice was in "Sway". The singing is a lot more soft in this one. Also, the songs aren't as rhythm based as the others, it's more just about the sound. My favorite song on this CD is "That's Alright." This album is perfect for a certain kind of mood, but I'm not really sure what that mood is yet. Not sad, not dark, maybe a sort of tranquil. What I can say is that the more you listen to the CD the more you'll like it.
