5 stars Greatest living female voice of Persian classical music
Along with Sima Bina, you have 2 of the greatest living voices in Persian classical music. Don't me wrong, I'm an ignorant American and don't understand a word, but if Parissa's voice (backed by members of the ever-awesome Dastan Ensemble) doesn't touch your soul, then you lost it somewhere. One great thing with this release is the multi-lingual translations of the lyrics, this time featuring the timeless poetry of Nizami, Rumi, Araghi and Djoshghani. A must-have addition to any classic Persian music collection, along with Shoorideh.
