NTSC/Region 0. Rahsaan Roland Kirk was one of the most exciting saxophone players in jazz history. Completely blind since the age of two, he learned to play the bugle and the trumpet during his childhood. Although his main instrument was to become the tenor saxophone, Kirk became famous for playing a large variety of reeds. He even developed the rare ability of playing various reeds at the same time, transforming himself into a whole orchestral saxophone section. This DVD brings together two complete previously unissued concerts. The first one filmed in Milan in 1962, presents Kirk in the company of another famous blind musician, Catalonian pianist Tete Montoliu.
