Solomon Keal is a solo piano artist from Lenhartsville, Pennsylvania. He composes peaceful, relaxing New Age or Neo Classical solo piano music. Solomon’s music has often been compared to the music of Jim Brickman, John Tesh, George Winston, Claude Debussy, James Horner, David Lanz, Erik Satie, Chip Davis, Danny Wright, Liz Story, Kevin Kern, and Hagood Hardy.Solomon has a home recording studio which allows him to record and produce his own albums. In November of 2005 he released a solo piano Christmas album called "Advent." He is currently working with his sister Roxanne on composing several pieces for a flute and piano album, as well as his next solo piano album, entitled "Peace of Heaven." Solomon is an independent musician, meaning that he isn't signed to a record label. His own independent music business is called Peace of Heaven Music.Six years of formal piano lessons laid the foundation for his ability to compose an average of 6 solo piano pieces a year since 1993. Solomon has performed his music for weddings, dinners, receptions, charity events, open mic nights, coffeeshops, and concerts. In 1998, with the extraordinary help of Clark Ferguson (Bearswamp Studios), his family and friends, Solomon made his first self-published album entitled "Thoughts and Affections." Then in 2000, he made his second album, "Heritage."Solomon has a diploma in Recording Engineering from the Audio Institute of America, and is capable of recording his own albums as well as recording for other musicians as well. Solomon is also a piano teacher, specializing in non-traditional lessons which cover piano basics, music theory, composition, and improvisation.Piano performing, composing, music teaching, and recording engineering are all fluid parts of Solomon's music career.Solomon's piano music can now be heard on a couple of different online radio stations including: Whisperings Solo Piano Radio, and New Church Radio. The songs in the album "My Beloved" were written years ago. As a matter of fact they were some of the first songs I wrote after I studied writing long enough to know what I was doing. I wrote that genre for quite a while and then because I was teaching piano I started writing songs for children. It was so much fun and the children were thrilled. I wrote on any subject they wanted me to write about. One day a little beginner wanted me to write her a song. She said everybody else had one. So I told her I would and asked what she wanted me to write about. Her answer surprised me. She wanted it written about flowers. This is a sample of what the words were. Flowers lovely flowers pollinate with ease blowing in the breeze they make me cough and wheeze flowers lovely flowers whose beauty seem to please and satisfy the bees only make me itch and sneezeI wrote many song for the children and some of them are on my web page. As a matter of fact there are 6 children's albums. I also write other genre. Country, gospel, christian, easy listening, holiday, patriotic, comic, names and there are 4 instrumentals. There are 33 albums already and "my beloved" makes 34. We are in the process of recording a country instrumental. Our artist dennis zimmerman is a god send. He is withouta doubt the most talented person i have ever worked with. I wrote "my beloved" but dino made it come to life. He not only made the arrangement ...
