The joy of living in love with the Lord finds expression through the songs "My Lord, My Life," "WindSong," "I Thank You, Lord," and "He Gave."Relationships based on a common faith and Christian perspective can make the heart sing, as evidenced by the beautiful melodies of "Joshua's Lullaby" written for Ken's newly adopted baby boy (and played during his adoption ceremony). Since Joshua is the Old Testament equivalent to the New Testament name of Jesus, this melody begins with the opening phrases of "Jesus Loves Me" before morphing into Joshua's uniquely-crafted tune. "Melody" is inspired by a darling 5-year-old with that musical name who lived in the country in a mobile home, with a dirt yard, and a pet goat. Her heart-stealing ways endeared her to Ken and resulted in this tribute to his young friend."Touch A Child" found inspiration from an article of the same title. Ken's poetic adaptation of the opening paragraph reads, "As a little girl she had often gone, out into the fields where she stood alone. Amid the tall waves of grass she would sigh, then through her streaming tears, into the wind she would cry, 'O God, please let someone hold me, with tender loving arms, just hold me!' Oh, the cry of this lonely, hurting girl is the cry of lonely children all over the world." ...
